Gas Chromatography Assay and Purity of Drug Excipient

Raw material to be determined is dissolved in a volatile solvent and injected into the GC instrument. The chromatography separation is based on the control temperature of the oven, injector and detector using ultra pure gas such as helium or hydrogen as our carrier base specified by the compendial method. The retention time and peak response of the raw material are compared to the USP reference standard and calculated for purity and potency. The detector can be FID, TCD or others.
